The Adidas ULTRABOOST 1.0 is a road running shoe designed as a daily trainer with a focus on cushioned comfort. Originally released in 2015, this neutral shoe is particularly suited for heel strikers and works well for daily training, easy runs, jogging, and casual wear.

The Adidas ULTRABOOST 1.0 features a full-length Boost midsole made from TPU-based foam that delivers a soft, responsive, and springy ride. The cushioning provides strong energy return while maintaining a plush feel underfoot, with notably generous padding in the heel. The Boost foam retains its cushioning properties longer than traditional EVA midsoles. This shoe is best suited for daily training paces and easy runs rather than high-performance or competitive running.

The upper uses Primeknit, a seamless knitted textile that creates a sock-like fit molding to the foot's shape. Large ventilation holes in the toebox and midfoot provide exceptional breathability. A plastic three-striped cage at the midfoot works with the lacing system to provide lockdown and lateral support. The TORSION System, a thermoplastic shank, bridges the heel and forefoot to prevent foot twisting and add arch support, while an external heel counter enhances stability. The fit runs narrow and may require a short break-in period.

The Adidas ULTRABOOST 1.0 uses a Continental rubber outsole with a Stretchweb design that flexes naturally with the Boost midsole. The durable rubber compound provides reliable traction on pavement, gym floors, and other road surfaces.
