The midsole features ReactX foam combined with dual Air Zoom units positioned in both the forefoot and heel, delivering a balanced and responsive ride. The ReactX provides a bouncy, cushioned feel that works well for easier training paces and long-distance runs. The shoe maintains moderate forefoot flexibility with a large heel bevel that creates smooth, rockered transitions, making it particularly well-suited for heel strikers and steady mileage work.

The upper construction incorporates a Gore-Tex waterproof membrane with additional reinforcement, including enhanced tongue padding and a fully gusseted tongue design to keep water out.
