The Nike Pegasus 41 features a full-length ReactX foam midsole paired with dual Air Zoom units positioned in the heel and forefoot. ReactX delivers a softer, bouncier feel compared to previous React foam, with particularly noticeable cushioning in the heel that transitions to a slightly firmer forefoot. The shoe incorporates a more pronounced rocker design than earlier Pegasus models, along with heel sidewalls that provide mild guidance and keep the ride centered. The result is a smooth, well-cushioned ride best suited to easy runs, recovery sessions, and long training days at moderate paces. The Nike Pegasus 41 handles daily mileage comfortably but feels less responsive during uptempo work or speed sessions.

The engineered mesh upper on the Pegasus 41 offers good breathability with ventilation holes throughout the toebox, while reinforced areas in the midfoot and heel provide structure without adding bulk. The upper fits true to size with a secure hold across the heel, midfoot, and forefoot, though it runs slightly lower in volume than previous versions.
