The Supernova Rise 3 features a Dreamstrike+ midsole made from PEBA-based foam that delivers soft, bouncy cushioning with moderate energy return. The foam is 20% softer and 20% bouncier than the previous version, offering a ride that feels more compliant than resilient. Integrated support rods sculpted into the midsole add snappiness through the midfoot and provide mild torsional stiffness without feeling rigid. A highly rockered geometry with substantial toe spring creates smooth transitions at both easy and faster paces, making it suitable for everything from recovery runs to steady training sessions.

The upper is constructed from Primeweave, an engineered woven mesh that's flexible, soft, and breathable. Perforations throughout the upper and tongue optimize airflow during runs. The fully gusseted tongue with strategically placed padding provides secure lockdown, while the flexible heel counter includes additional cushioning for comfort. The fit runs narrow to snug, particularly through the midfoot, though the wide flared base of the midsole offers inherent stability despite the neutral design.
