The Peregrine 16 GTX uses a PWRRUN midsole with moderate cushioning suitable for long trail runs and ultra distances. The 31.7mm heel stack provides enough cushioning for extended efforts while maintaining trail feedback. The 4.8mm drop and moderately firm midsole deliver a stable, grounded feel across varied terrain and pacing.

The upper features an engineered mesh base with integrated Gore-Tex membrane for waterproof protection. A reinforced toe guard shields the forefoot from rocks and roots, while a semi-gusseted tongue manages debris. The fit runs narrow and small, often requiring a half size up from normal. A secure midfoot structure and padded collar ensure lockdown on technical ground.
