The Salomon ULTRA GLIDE 3 features an energyFOAM midsole with a substantial 41mm stack at the heel and 35mm in the forefoot, making it one of the most cushioned shoes in Salomon's lineup. The soft, plush foam delivers strong energy return and shock absorption suited to easy-paced training runs and ultra distances. Deep sidewalls and a wide base provide stability despite the high stack, though the thick cushioning limits trail feedback. The 6mm drop offers a balanced platform that reduces strain on the calves and Achilles while maintaining forward momentum.

The engineered mesh upper incorporates EndoFit internal sleeve technology and the sensiFIT system for a secure, locked-down fit through the midfoot.
