The Puma DEVIATE NITRO 4 is a neutral road trainer built for versatile performance across a wide range of paces. Designed as a plated daily trainer, it handles everything from easy runs and long distances to tempo efforts and faster workouts.

The midsole features a dual-density NITROFOAM setup with a softer PEBA-based top layer for cushioning and bounce, paired with a firmer PEBA blend bottom layer for stability and responsiveness. A carbon composite PWRPlate sits between the foam layers, adding snap and propulsion without excessive stiffness. The Puma DEVIATE NITRO 4 delivers a smooth, energetic ride that feels controlled rather than overly soft, with enough versatility to work at recovery pace or uptempo speeds. The 38mm heel and 30mm forefoot stack provide solid underfoot protection, while the 8mm drop allows for a balanced feel during transitions.

The upper uses a lightweight engineered mesh that's breathable and less restrictive than earlier versions, with a fit that runs true to size and accommodates wider feet comfortably. A gusseted tongue with strategic padding and a secure lacing system ensure good lockdown without pressure points. The Puma DEVIATE NITRO 4 features a roomy toe box and a moderately padded heel collar, offering a snug but comfortable hold throughout the midfoot and rearfoot.
