The Nike Structure 26 features a full-length ReactX midsole that delivers a smooth, well-cushioned ride from heel to toe. The foam offers solid impact protection with a balanced feel that's neither overly soft nor firm, making the shoe well-suited for easy-paced training and recovery runs. While the Nike Structure 26 provides reliable comfort for daily mileage, the cushioning and weight make it less responsive for faster-paced workouts, keeping it firmly in the daily trainer category.

The upper uses an engineered mesh construction with average breathability, prioritizing support and structure over maximum airflow. A padded heel collar and tongue add comfort during longer runs, while an internal midfoot fit band integrates with the lacing system to provide secure lockdown. The stability comes from a visible midfoot support system with high medial and lateral crash rails at the arch, guiding the foot without aggressive correction. A medial post at the heel and midfoot adds further support for overpronators.

The outsole of the Nike Structure 26 combines high-abrasion rubber at the heel and midfoot with softer blown rubber segments in the forefoot. Deep flex grooves in the forefoot allow natural toe-off while maintaining stability. The shoe is designed for road running and smooth surfaces, with average traction on wet pavement and no capability for technical trails.
