Mizuno WAVE RIDER 30 running shoes

The Mizuno Wave Rider 30 is a neutral daily training shoe designed for road running. Built for everyday training across various paces, it serves as a versatile workhorse suitable for long runs, easy mileage, and uptempo efforts.

The midsole features a dual-layer foam system with nitrogen-infused Enerzy NXT at the forefoot for softness and rebound, paired with firmer EVA at the heel for stability. A full-length Wave plate made of polypropylene mesh provides smooth transitions and gentle propulsion without the harsh feel of traditional rigid plates. The ride is springy and responsive with noticeable bounce, though firmer than many modern high-stack trainers. A mild to moderate rocker supports efficient transitions.

An engineered knit upper offers breathability and a soft feel. The gusseted tongue provides secure lockdown, while a well-padded heel collar ensures a stable fit. The Mizuno Wave Rider 30 runs true to size with a slightly higher volume fit than previous versions, offering ample forefoot room and good midfoot support.

The outsole uses X10 carbon rubber with generous coverage and a segmented layout for flexibility. Deep lugs enhance traction on dry pavement, wet surfaces, and light dirt paths. The Wave Rider 30 is optimized for road running, with durable rubber positioned across high-wear areas.
