The midsole features full-length nitrogen-infused ENERZY NXT foam, delivering a soft, bouncy, and responsive ride with strong energy return. A Pebax-based Wave Plate runs from heel to midfoot, providing stability and smooth transitions without excessive stiffness. The Mizuno Wave Rider 29 works across a wide range of paces, from easy recovery runs to faster workouts, while maintaining protective cushioning over longer distances. The 10mm drop creates smooth ground contact and toe-off transitions.

The upper uses jacquard mesh construction with a fully gusseted tongue for secure midfoot lockdown.
