The Mizuno NEO VISTA 3 is a max-cushion road running shoe designed for daily training and long-distance running. Built for neutral runners, it delivers deep cushioning with responsive energy for easy runs, long efforts, and uptempo training.

The midsole features a dual-layer Enerzy NXT foam system with a nitrogen-infused TPU top layer over an EVA base, creating plush cushioning with a lively, bouncy character. A redesigned 3D glass fiber-reinforced nylon Wave Plate runs full-length through the midsole, adding springboard-like action and noticeable pop to each stride. Smooth Speed Assist geometry with a pronounced rocker and heel bevel encourages quick transitions. The Mizuno NEO VISTA 3 balances protective cushioning for long runs with enough responsiveness to handle tempo efforts and uptempo workouts.

The upper uses a one-piece engineered knit construction that creates a sock-like bootie fit with a snug, secure feel. The integrated tongue and lower-volume knit design hug the foot closely, though the fit may require a short break-in period. Extra padding around the collar enhances comfort, while double pull tabs at the top of the foot and heel make entry easier. The heel counter is mildly flexible, providing lockdown without excessive rigidity. While technically neutral, the NEO VISTA 3 incorporates subtle lateral bias features that offer mild medial stability support for runners with light pronation needs.

The outsole uses durable X10 rubber arranged in segmented pods separated by deep flex grooves and a large midfoot cutout. The Mizuno NEO VISTA 3 is designed for roads, tracks, and smooth paved surfaces, with the deep groove pattern limiting its use on uneven terrain. The segmented design provides traction on wet and dry pavement while maintaining flexibility.
