The Mizuno NEO VISTA 2 is a maximalist daily trainer for neutral runners seeking plush cushioning on road runs. Best suited for easy runs, long distances, and moderate paces from recovery efforts to just below marathon pace, though it lacks the responsiveness for fast intervals or tempo work.

The shoe features a dual-density Enerzy NXT midsole with a nitrogen-infused TPU top layer over an EVA base, creating an exceptionally soft and bouncy ride. A glass fiber-reinforced nylon wave plate runs through the midsole for mild stabilization and smooth transitions via the Speed Assist rocker geometry. The engineered knit upper offers a high-volume, sock-like fit with improved breathability through wider ventilation holes. The outsole uses durable X10 rubber with an updated tread pattern providing reliable traction in wet and dry conditions.

Weight is 260g in EU 42.5 with a stack height of 45mm heel and 37mm forefoot, giving an 8mm drop.
