HOKA SPEEDGOAT 7 GTX running shoes

The HOKA Speedgoat 7 GTX is a trail running shoe designed for technical terrain and long-distance efforts including ultramarathons. This Gore-Tex version features a waterproof membrane in the upper construction.

The midsole uses Supercritical EVA foam, upgraded from the previous CMEVA compound, delivering improved energy return while maintaining light weight and ground contact. The cushioning character is moderate rather than plush, providing protection without excessive bounce. The Speedgoat 7 GTX handles long trail runs with a balanced feel that works across varied paces and terrain types.

The woven upper of the Speedgoat 7 GTX integrates a Gore-Tex membrane while maintaining breathability through the textile construction. A gusseted tongue connects at two lacing points to prevent movement, and the padded heel collar provides security over extended distances. The wider heel base enhances stability on uneven ground, and the shoe is available in wide sizing options.

The Vibram Megagrip rubber outsole delivers consistent traction across mixed surfaces. The lug pattern features forward-oriented lugs in the forefoot for uphill grip and rearward-oriented lugs in the heel for downhill control. The HOKA Speedgoat 7 GTX performs reliably on rocky trails, muddy conditions, and technical descents.
