The HOKA SPEEDGOAT 7 is an all-mountain trail running shoe designed for technical terrain and long-distance running. Built for daily trail training through ultramarathons, it handles rocky, rooty, and steep terrain while providing protection and stability across varied conditions.

The midsole uses supercritical EVA foam with Meta-Rocker geometry, delivering balanced, medium-density cushioning with responsive efficiency. Rather than feeling overly soft or bouncy, the HOKA SPEEDGOAT 7 offers protective underfoot cushioning that maintains ground connection and control on technical sections. The foam provides enough responsiveness for varied paces while offering the protection needed for extended distance runs and rough terrain.

The upper features a woven RPET textile with structured overlays and engineered mesh that keeps debris out while maintaining breathability. A redesigned, cushioned heel collar combines with an extended dual-gusset tongue and dynamic stretch vamp to provide secure lockdown through the midfoot and heel. Two rear lace holes enhance security, and the upper is gaiter-compatible for additional weather protection. The fit runs narrower than some trail shoes, with a wide option available.

The Vibram Megagrip outsole features 5mm lugs with an updated traction layout that delivers confident grip across wet ground, rocky surfaces, roots, mud, loose dirt, and steep ascents and descents. The HOKA SPEEDGOAT 7's outsole provides all-conditions traction without excessive bulk, making it versatile across varied trail terrain from technical mountain routes to mixed surfaces.
