The Cielo X1 3.0 features a dual-layer PEBA midsole foam with a redesigned carbon fiber plate sandwiched between layers, creating an incredibly bouncy ride with excellent energy return. The aggressive rocker geometry provides crisp toe-off and smooth transitions, best suited for race pace, tempo runs, and fast long runs around 3:00-3:30 min/km. The softer PEBA formulation is more compressive than earlier versions while maintaining super shoe responsiveness, favoring midfoot-to-forefoot strikers who can take advantage of the pronounced forward roll-through.

The upper uses a leno weave textile construction that is thin, lightweight, and highly breathable. Asymmetrical lacing with textured laces combines with a stretchy dynamic vamp to create a snug, race-precise fit without being excessively narrow, while the refined heel geometry provides secure heel lock despite minimal padding.
