Description
The ASICS GT-2000 12 is a moderate stability daily trainer for runners with overpronation or those wanting a stable ride. Designed for road running, it handles easy runs, long runs, daily training, and uptempo work.
The midsole combines FF Blast Plus foam with PureGEL technology in the heel for cushioning. Stability comes from the 3D Guidance System, which uses a wider base, beveled heel, and forefoot flare rather than traditional medial posts. The engineered jacquard mesh upper provides a secure, slightly snug fit. The outsole uses AHAR rubber in high-wear zones with exposed foam in the midfoot.
Weight is 270g in EU 42.5. Stack height measures 36mm in the heel and 28mm in the forefoot, with an 8mm drop.
