The ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 26 features FF Blast+ Eco foam throughout the full-length midsole, combined with PureGEL technology in the heel for enhanced softness on landing. The ride is highly cushioned with a smooth, rockered transition from heel to toe that provides forward momentum without sacrificing stability. While the foam feels moderately soft overall, the shoe delivers a connected, grounded sensation despite its tall stack. This platform excels at easy to moderate paces and longer training runs, but lacks the responsiveness needed for speed work or tempo sessions.

The upper uses an ultra-stretchy engineered knit material that accommodates various foot shapes while maintaining midfoot security through a semi-gusseted tongue design.
