The ASICS GEL-KAYANO 32 uses FF BLAST PLUS foam in the midsole, delivering a firm and solid underfoot feel with maximum cushioning. The ride is slightly firmer than previous versions, providing immediate feedback while still absorbing impact effectively. With a 40mm stack height, the shoe offers substantial cushioning suited for easy-paced running and long-distance efforts. The low energy return and supportive platform make this shoe best for relaxed training rather than speed work.

The upper features engineered stretch knit material that provides a snug yet secure fit with good breathability. The ASICS GEL-KAYANO 32 incorporates the 4D Guidance System, a stability technology that uses a softer, more responsive foam piece on the medial side to guide the foot through pronation without traditional rigid posts. The wide base throughout the shoe creates inherent stability, while sidewalls in the heel and midfoot add structure. A stiff heel counter with plush padding ensures lockdown, and the semi-gusseted tongue enhances midfoot support.

The outsole uses Hybrid ASICSGRIP rubber compound with a durable construction suited for road running and treadmill use. The shoe handles smooth paths well but is not intended for technical terrain.
