The ASICS GEL-CONTEND 10 is a neutral road running shoe designed for daily training and general athletic activities. It's aimed at runners who need reliable cushioning for everyday use at comfortable paces.

The midsole features AMPLIFOAM PLUS cushioning, which delivers a softer and more comfortable ride than standard AMPLIFOAM foam. ASICS has added an extra 2mm of foam underfoot compared to the previous version for enhanced cushioning. Rearfoot GEL technology is integrated into the midsole to absorb shock during heel strike, making the GEL-CONTEND 10 well-suited for daily training runs and general fitness activities. The OrthoLite sockliner adds an extra layer of cushioning while managing moisture for a cooler feel underfoot.

The ASICS GEL-CONTEND 10 uses an engineered mesh upper that provides breathability while remaining lightweight. The mesh construction reduces the need for additional overlays, keeping the upper simple and ventilated. The shoe is designed with a neutral platform, making it appropriate for runners with neutral foot mechanics or those who tend toward underpronation.
