The Supernova Stride 2 features an EVA foam midsole that provides dense, durable cushioning suitable for extended use. A Dreamstrike Plus insert sits in the forefoot, though the thick EVA base somewhat muffles its responsiveness. The ride is reliable and beginner-friendly, making it well-suited for easy-paced daily training runs rather than faster workouts.

The upper uses engineered mesh with substantial padding throughout, including a well-cushioned heel collar and tongue. This extra padding helps runners who are still developing their stride and may benefit from additional comfort during the adjustment period.
