The midsole combines a substantial EVA foam base layer with Dreamstrike Plus, a modified version of Lightstrike foam, positioned in the forefoot. The cushioning character is beginner-friendly and stable, with the large EVA layer providing durable, consistent underfoot feel. The Dreamstrike Plus adds a modest amount of bounce for push-off, though its presence is subtle beneath the EVA foundation. The Adidas Supernova Stride delivers straightforward cushioning suited to easy runs and steady-paced training without excessive softness.

The engineered mesh upper features padding throughout, with notably substantial heel padding for comfort. The mesh construction provides structure but tends to run warm in summer conditions. The shoe runs half a size long, so sizing down is recommended. The top two eyelets are positioned far back on the foot, which may require adjusting lacing technique for a secure fit.

The Adidas Supernova Stride uses full-coverage Adiwear rubber across the outsole, with strategic cutouts under the arch and between the toes.
