The midsole features an updated Lightstrike Pro TPEE foam formulation that delivers a softer, bouncier ride compared to previous versions while maintaining enough firmness to prevent bottoming out during hard efforts. Glass fiber EnergyRods 2.0 run the length of the shoe, providing longitudinal stiffness and snap-back without the rigidity of carbon fiber plates, contributing to strong energy return and quick turnover at faster paces. The shoe excels at interval work and race efforts from the mile to half-marathon distance, with a slightly late rocker and mild toe spring that helps smooth the transition at speed.

The upper uses LIGHTLOCK woven mesh, a dense fabric that prioritizes durability and structural support over breathability. The material offers a narrow, performance-focused fit with a gusseted tongue padded on the underside, plus rubbery overlays along the midfoot and heel for secure lockdown.
