The Adidas ADIZERO TAKUMI SEN 10 features a dual-layer Lightstrike Pro midsole that delivers a balanced ride between soft and firm, offering responsive characteristics without excessive bounce. Energy Rods 2.0, a fiberglass propulsion system running through the midsole, provides midfoot stiffness and a snappy feel at faster speeds while remaining less rigid than traditional carbon-plated racing shoes. The relatively low stack height contributes to excellent ground contact and quick transitions, making the shoe feel nimble and direct. The cushioning setup works best at tempo and race paces, where the Energy Rods activate to deliver propulsion through the toe-off phase.

The upper uses a single-layer engineered mesh construction that prioritizes breathability and minimal weight.
