The midsole features a dual-layer foam construction with PWRRUN HG, a PEBA-based supercritical foam, sitting above a firmer PWRRUN PB beaded PEBA base. A full-length carbon fiber plate with slotted forefoot geometry adds propulsion while allowing side-to-side flexibility. The Saucony Endorphin Pro 5 incorporates SpeedRoll Technology with a pronounced rocker for smooth transitions at race pace. The ride is firmer and more responsive than soft cushioning-focused shoes, delivering strong energy return without feeling overly aggressive. It works best for faster tempo runs and race efforts from 5K through marathon distance.

The upper uses a single-layer breathable engineered mesh with an integrated tongue that creates a sock-like fit.
