Description

The Salomon Speedcross 6 is a lightweight trail running shoe built for muddy, technical terrain and winter conditions. Best suited for heel strikers running at faster paces on soft, loamy trails and alpine routes. The aggressive 5.5mm lugs and specialized Mud Contagrip rubber make it ideal for wet, slippery conditions rather than hardpack or road running.

The midsole uses EnergyCell+ EVA foam with a firm feel that prioritizes stability over plush cushioning. No rock plate allows natural foot flex. The upper combines mesh with SensiFit construction and a QuickLace system for a snug, locked-in fit. The redesigned lug pattern features arrow-shaped cleats with generous spacing to shed mud efficiently, extending over the toe bumper for improved grip on steep climbs and off-camber sections.

Weight is 314g in EU 44, with a 33mm heel and 21mm forefoot stack height. Drop is 12mm.
