The Salomon Genesis GORE-TEX is a daily trail running shoe built for moderate to technical terrain, including rocky and mixed surfaces. With its 8mm drop and moderate cushioning, it suits neutral runners tackling 2-3 runs per week at steady paces, from easy efforts to ultra-distance outings.

The midsole uses optiFOAM, a lightweight EVA foam that balances cushioning with ground feel, paired with an activeChassis for stability without sacrificing agility. The endoFIT internal sleeve wraps the foot precisely, while the MATRYX upper blends synthetic yarns and Kevlar fibers for durability and breathability. The Quicklace system enables one-pull tightening. Underfoot, the All Terrain contaGRIP outsole features multidirectional lugs with 4.5mm depth, gripping wet, dry, and loose surfaces. The GORE-TEX membrane keeps feet dry in wet conditions.

The shoe weighs 312g in EU 42.5 with a 33mm heel and 25mm forefoot stack, giving an 8mm drop.
