The Salomon Alphaglide GORE-TEX is a versatile trail running shoe designed for mixed terrain and all-weather conditions. Built for runners seeking cushioned comfort across a wide variety of surfaces, it handles forest trails, gravel paths, and mountain terrain with equal confidence.

The Salomon Alphaglide GORE-TEX features Optivibe foam cushioning in the midsole, which absorbs vibrations and reduces muscle fatigue without adding extra weight. The balanced midsole geometry supports a natural midfoot strike, making it suitable for steady-paced trail runs and longer outings where maximum cushioning helps maintain comfort. An OrthoLite insole provides additional softness and support underfoot.

The upper combines SensiFit construction with anti-debris mesh and a GORE-TEX membrane. SensiFit cradles the foot from the midsole through the lacing system, creating a secure and snug fit without restriction. The anti-debris mesh keeps trail grit out while maintaining breathability, and the synthetic and textile materials resist dust and debris over extended use.

The Salomon Alphaglide GORE-TEX runs on an All Terrain Contagrip outsole with 3.5mm lugs. The rubber compound delivers reliable traction on wet and dry surfaces, handling both hard-packed trails and looser ground. The relatively shallow lug depth makes it equally capable on city pavements and gravel paths as it is on mountain terrain.
