The ForeverRun Nitro 2 works best at easy to steady training paces and feels lighter underfoot than its actual weight suggests, though it lacks the snap needed for fast tempo work or speed sessions.

The engineered knit upper is reinforced with PWRTAPE overlays and features a thin gusseted tongue that provides secure lockdown. Stability comes from a wide midsole base, tall sidewalls with external reinforcements extending from heel to midfoot, and the dual-density foam construction that centers the foot without traditional medial posts. A stiff plastic heel counter and padded collar enhance heel security, while the upper's low forefoot volume may feel initially snug but stretches with break-in.
