Running shoes On CLOUDVISTA

The On Cloudvista is a lightweight road-to-trail hybrid shoe designed for runners who mix terrain types in their training. It's suited for easy to moderate paces on well-maintained trails, packed dirt, gravel paths, and short road sections.

The midsole features On's CloudTec cushioning with Helion foam, which compresses both vertically and horizontally to provide a firmer but noticeably more flexible ride than earlier On models. A polypropylene Speedboard runs through the midsole, creating a well-rockered geometry that rolls forward smoothly with a slight bounce from the heel. The forefoot sits closer to the ground with above-average flexibility, offering good ground feel that becomes snappier at faster paces. The Cloudvista works best for easy and daily effort runs, with enough responsiveness for mild uptempo efforts and fartleks on trail.

The upper uses a thin, breathable polyester mesh with TPU mudguards at the toe for durability on rougher terrain. A fully gusseted tongue stays secure and keeps debris out despite its thinness, while a flexible heel counter provides moderate cushioning around the collar. The fit runs normal to slightly snug in width, with the forefoot feeling tighter due to the toe guard thickness. Lacing requires some finesse to achieve optimal lockdown without creating pressure points on top of the foot.

The Missiongrip outsole features small lugs around 2.5mm in depth across the full length of the shoe. It provides good traction on mild to moderately technical trails, packed dirt, and gravel, with enough durability for occasional road running. The On Cloudvista handles mixed terrain well but isn't built for steep technical descents, loose surfaces, or muddy conditions.
