The Nike Zoom Rival Sprint is a track spike designed for beginner to intermediate-level sprinters competing in distances from 60m to 400m, including hurdle and jump events. This shoe is built specifically for rubber track surfaces, offering the containment and responsiveness needed to attack turns and straightaways.

The Nike Zoom Rival Sprint features a foam midsole with a Phylon wedge in the heel for lightweight resilient cushioning. The updated 3/4-length Pebax plate delivers forefoot propulsion and encourages running on the toes, providing the explosive drive needed for sprint events. The plate design balances stiffness for power transfer with enough flexibility to maintain natural foot motion during acceleration.

The upper combines lightweight mesh construction with strategic reinforcement for breathability and durability. An internal arch band wraps around the midfoot, working with the lacing system to provide dynamic lock-down and supportive containment through the arch. Synthetic overlays secure the midfoot and heel while leaving the forefoot free to flex, and a 3/4-length internal bootie connects the upper to the midsole for a secure, streamlined fit.

The Nike Zoom Rival Sprint is equipped with six replaceable spikes made from lightweight ceramic aluminum material, offering optimal traction on all track surfaces. A rubber outsole extends from the heel to the spike plate with a traction pattern for grip and durability, also providing cushioning and braking traction after crossing the finish line.
