The Nike Zoom Rival Multi is a track spike designed for beginner and intermediate athletes competing in multiple events. This versatile spike works across sprints, middle-distance races, hurdles, and jumping events, making it suitable for multi-event competitors or athletes still finding their specialty.

The Nike Zoom Rival Multi features a heel cushion that provides comfort and durability during short and middle-distance efforts, as well as during hurdles and jumps. The spike plate extends under the arch to deliver a springier, more responsive toe-off when accelerating out of blocks or pushing through the finish. The cushioning setup balances protection with the direct ground feel needed for technical events.

The upper uses lightweight mesh for breathability during races and warm-ups. Zoned overlays are strategically placed in high-wear areas to enhance durability without adding bulk. An arch band wraps around the midfoot to lock the foot in place during quick directional changes and explosive movements. The 3/4-length bootie construction eliminates excess layers while providing a snug, sock-like fit.

The outsole of the Nike Zoom Rival Multi combines solid rubber through the heel with a horizontal traction pattern for grip and durability during heel-strike phases. The forefoot spike plate holds six removable spike pins per shoe, and a spike wrench is included for adjustments. The design suits synthetic track surfaces across a range of track and field events.
