The midsole features full-length ZoomX foam paired with dual Air Zoom units positioned at the heel and forefoot. This combination delivers a soft, bouncy ride with smooth transitions and strong energy return despite the massive stack height. The Nike Vomero Premium excels at recovery paces and easy training runs, providing substantial cushioning that makes longer distances comfortable. The shoe performs best at relaxed paces around 4:40 per km and slower, losing responsiveness when pushed toward faster efforts.

The upper uses engineered mesh with heavily padded collars and a well-cushioned gusseted tongue that provides a plush, secure fit. A rigid extended heel counter with a high Achilles collar offers structure, though the substantial padding can feel warm in hot conditions. The fit runs true to size with a spacious toe box and good lockdown through the midfoot, while the mesh breathes adequately without creating hot spots.
