The Nike Vomero Plus is a max-cushion road running shoe designed for daily training, recovery runs, and easy long runs. This premium neutral trainer serves runners looking for plush comfort across easy to moderate-paced efforts.

The Nike Vomero Plus features a full-length ZoomX midsole that delivers a bouncy, responsive ride with soft, vibration-absorbing cushioning. With a substantial 45mm heel and 35mm forefoot stack height, the foam provides energetic rebound and strong energy return while maintaining a stable platform despite the high stack. The rocker geometry includes a subtle front rocker and more pronounced heel bevel that smooths heel-to-toe transitions, making the Nike Vomero Plus well-suited for daily training runs, recovery miles, and long runs at easy to moderate paces ranging from around 4:15 to 5:00 min/km.

The engineered mesh upper on the Nike Vomero Plus features a breathable construction with reinforced support through layered mesh fibers. A thick, ultra-plush tongue and generous heel collar padding create a secure, comfortable step-in feel without pressure points. The toebox offers adequate room for toe splay, while the non-gusseted tongue stays in place during runs. Large midsole sidewalls extend into the midfoot, providing mild lateral guidance despite the neutral design, and a stiff heel counter adds rearfoot structure without discomfort.

The Nike Vomero Plus outsole features full-coverage waffle lugs in a grid pattern made from high-abrasion rubber. This design provides reliable grip on dry pavement, wet roads, and light gravel surfaces while offering strong durability that resists premature wear. Strategic flex grooves on the medial and lateral sides allow natural foot movement through the gait cycle on road surfaces.
