The Nike Structure Plus is a max-cushioned stability trainer designed for road running and daily training. Built for runners who overpronate or need moderate to high stability support, it serves best for easy runs, long steady efforts, and recovery days at consistent paces.

The Nike Structure Plus features a dual-foam midsole with a ZoomX top layer sitting over a ReactX base. This combination delivers a plush, protective feel underfoot with enough cushioning for longer distances. The ride is smooth and well-cushioned but firmer than expected given the ZoomX presence, as the ReactX carrier foam moderates the liveliness. The thick stack and stable platform work well for easy-paced running and recovery efforts but lack the responsiveness needed for tempo runs or uptempo work.

The upper uses engineered mesh with strategic overlays and a supportive lacing structure around the midfoot. A stiff heel counter with ample collar padding provides secure heel lockdown, though the tapered toe box may feel snug for wider feet. The tongue has light padding and wide wings with a lace loop to reduce sliding. Stability comes from high medial and lateral sidewalls that wrap the foot at different heights, offering subtle guidance without rigid posting or intrusive correction.

The Nike Structure Plus outsole uses blown rubber in the forefoot for softer landings and high-abrasion rubber through the heel and midfoot for durability. Small forefoot lugs and a relatively flat profile with a subtle toe rocker support road running exclusively. Traction performs well on dry pavement but proves less reliable in wet or cold conditions.
