The Nike Interact Run is a road running shoe designed for casual runners and beginners seeking a versatile option for short-distance running and daily wear. Built for runs up to 5 kilometers and cross-training activities, it marks Nike's first Flyknit model priced under $100.

The midsole uses Nike SoftRide foam that runs the full length of the shoe, delivering medium cushioning with a responsive character. The foam runs on the firmer side initially and softens during the break-in period, providing a cushioned feel underfoot with moderate energy return. The Nike Interact Run works best for short runs, speed workouts, and gym sessions, though the cushioning response becomes limited on longer distances beyond 5 kilometers.

The full-length Flyknit upper features no overlays and offers a sock-like feel with high breathability that dries quickly. A standard lacing system provides good lockdown, while the slightly padded heel collar keeps the ankle secure without excessive bulk. The shoe delivers stable support for neutral runners, though the upper runs narrow in construction and often requires sizing up by half a size for a comfortable fit.

A fully rubber outsole with a waffle pattern covers the Nike Interact Run's base, providing reliable traction on roads, sidewalks, gravel, and grass in dry conditions. Wet surface grip is noticeably weaker, and the outsole shows quicker wear compared to typical running shoes, making it less suitable for high-mileage runners who regularly wear through rubber.
