The New Balance FuelCell Rebel V4 is a lightweight performance trainer designed for neutral runners, suitable for everything from easy runs to tempo workouts and races from 10K upward. It works well on roads and tracks, handling daily training miles as comfortably as uptempo efforts.

The midsole uses FuelCell foam—a blend of 20% PEBA and 80% EVA—that delivers bouncy, responsive cushioning with good energy return. The foam is soft yet supportive, becoming livelier at faster paces while remaining comfortable for slower efforts. The wide, stable platform features a forefoot rocker that promotes smooth transitions. The engineered mesh upper with FantomFit technology is thin, breathable, and provides secure lockdown with a roomy toebox and gusseted tongue. The outsole combines exposed foam sections with rubber coverage in high-wear zones, offering good traction on dry roads but weaker grip on wet surfaces.

The shoe weighs 210g in EU 42.5 and 179g in EU 41.5. Stack height measures 34mm in the heel and 28mm in the forefoot, with a 6mm drop.
