The HOKA CLIFTON PRO is a cushioned daily trainer designed for road running. It's aimed at novice and intermediate runners seeking stable cushioning, as well as experienced runners doing easy recovery runs and long runs, offering a versatile option that handles everything from easy mileage to tempo efforts.

The midsole features PROGLIDE+ supercritical EVA foam, which delivers noticeably more bounce and responsiveness compared to previous Clifton models while maintaining a smooth, cushioned feel. The foam is lighter and more energetic than traditional compression-molded EVA, providing a springy sensation underfoot. Combined with an aggressive MetaRocker geometry, the HOKA CLIFTON PRO creates fluid transitions and propulsive toe-off, comfortably handling paces ranging from relaxed easy runs around 5:00 min/km to faster tempo efforts. The thick stack height provides maximum cushioning without compromising stability, thanks to the wide stance and supportive sidewalls surrounding the heel and midfoot.

The engineered mesh upper is lightweight and breathable, with a fully gusseted tongue that prevents sliding during runs. The fit runs true to size and offers ample toe box room that accommodates natural foot swell on longer efforts. A generously padded heel collar and reinforced heel counter lock the foot securely in place without causing pressure points, while traditional flat lacing provides adjustable support across the midfoot.

The Durabrasion rubber outsole features full-length coverage with a modular design that balances durability and weight. Generous rubber coverage in high-wear areas protects the foam from abrasion and extends the life of the HOKA CLIFTON PRO beyond models with more exposed midsole foam. Grip remains reliable on dry and wet roads, and the outsole manages occasional gravel paths and light dirt trails without difficulty.
