The Brooks Ghost Max 2 is a neutral max-cushioned road shoe designed for easy runs, long runs, and daily training. It works well for recovery days and can handle the majority of a runner's weekly mileage at easy paces. The shoe features a GlideRoll rocker that promotes smooth transitions and works best for midfoot and forefoot strikers.

The midsole uses DNA Loft v3, a nitrogen-infused EVA foam that provides a cushioned, responsive ride with enhanced energy return and inherent stability. The upper consists of engineered mesh with breathability over the toes and a supportive fit elsewhere, complemented by a firm heel cup with plush padding. The outsole offers good grip on wet surfaces with substantial rubber coverage across the heel, midfoot, and forefoot.

Weight is 306g in EU 42.5. Stack height measures 39mm at the heel and 33mm at the forefoot with a 6mm drop.
