The ASICS SonicBlast is a plated super trainer for neutral runners, designed for daily training, tempo runs, and longer efforts on the road. It handles easy paces smoothly and comes alive at uptempo speeds, offering a responsive and lively ride across a range of paces.

The midsole combines FF Turbo² (ATPU-based foam) as the top layer with FF Blast Max below, separated by a 3/4-length Pebax Astroplate for propulsion without harshness. The dual-foam setup delivers a cushioned yet bouncy feel with strong energy return. The jacquard mesh upper is thin, breathable, and fits snug through the midfoot with a gusseted tongue for secure lockdown—best suited for narrow to medium-width feet. The outsole uses AsicsGrip rubber with good coverage at the forefoot and exposed foam at the heel.
