The Adidas Terrex Agravic Speed is a lightweight trail racing shoe designed for uptempo training and races up to 50 km. Built for fast-paced trail running on mostly runnable technical terrain, it bridges the gap between road racing flats and traditional trail shoes.

The Adidas Terrex Agravic Speed features a dual-layered Lightstrike midsole with a firmer Lightstrike layer on top and Lightstrike Pro foam below. This combination delivers a medium-soft feel with decent underfoot protection, responsive energy return, and noticeable ground feel. The moderate rocker geometry in both forward and lateral planes helps center the foot on landing and facilitates a quick stride turnover. The shoe performs best at faster paces and feels most natural during speed work and tempo efforts, though it can feel awkward at slower recovery paces.

The engineered woven upper is thin, highly breathable, and constructed with minimal overlays for a lightweight, race-ready feel. The seamless synthetic mesh resembles materials found in road racing shoes, creating a low-profile design. A lightly constructed gusseted tongue and sawtooth laces provide a secure lockdown through the midfoot, while the toe box features an overlay that adds structure. The ankle collar sits low with minimal padding, which may require thicker socks for comfort during initial wears.

The Adidas Terrex Agravic Speed uses a Continental rubber outsole with continuous coverage and 4mm lugs that deliver excellent traction across varied terrain including loose dirt, gravel, mud, wet rocks, and technical sections. The rounded, soft lugs provide surprising grip despite their shallow depth, though muddy or heavily loose conditions can challenge the shoe's capability. The outsole performs well on moderate to technical trails, rocky areas, dirt paths, and even paved surfaces.
