The Nike Long Jump Elite is a specialized track and field spike designed for competitive long jump athletes. Built for explosive power down the runway and secure takeoff from the board, this spike combines responsive cushioning with a locked-down fit for serious jumpers.

The Nike Long Jump Elite features a split Air Zoom unit in the forefoot that delivers high energy return while maintaining stability during the approach run. A full-length carbon Flyplate provides propulsive stiffness tuned specifically for the explosive demands of long jump, creating a responsive platform that helps convert speed into vertical lift at takeoff. Thick molded foam at the heel adds targeted cushioning for landing impact.

The upper uses lightweight woven fabric at the forefoot for breathability during competition. An adjustable X-cross strap runs diagonally across the midfoot to lock the foot securely in place and efficiently transfer power through the takeoff phase. The wide base design combines with underfoot flexibility to support a comfortable and natural toe-off. Perforations around the heel reduce overall weight while increasing ventilation.

A three-quarter-length nylon spike plate holds seven removable spike pins that work with a shockwave outsole pattern to provide grip on the track runway. The Nike Long Jump Elite adds sharkskin-inspired traction elements at the heel for hold across multiple surfaces including the takeoff board and landing area. The spike wrench is included for pin adjustment between jumps.
